  • This has been a pretty good weekend so far.  I got done what I wanted to accomplish, which was to get caught up in Organic Chemistry.  I stayed up late Saturday night studying and then I spent all day Sunday working on it.  By the time I was finished studying both nights, my brain felt like mush.  But that's good, now that I'm caught up I'm ready to take on another week of lectures.

Took my Spanish exam on Thursday, cant be sure how I did.  Here's hoping for the best though.

There's this girl I've been trying to get to know better.  She's uber-cool, infact she's probably too uber-cool to go out with a wallflower like me.  The problem is that I'm really shy around people I dont know that well, I dont know what to talk about.  I just hope I'm not bugging her, I'd hate to make her Valentine's Day awkward.  I'm an utter failure when it comes to meeting and wooing the opposite sex.  But my hopes are high, if I'm not optimistic and I never try then I'll never get a girlfriend, and I'd like to have a meaningful more-than-friends relationship for once in my life.

  • I'm good at meeting and wooing the opposite sex.
its just that I get lazy, ya know?

  • Well, honestly, it all depends on how you do it.
I've dealt with shy boys before, and currently am dating one.
He found me intimidating, but if you just keep confidence, and hold yourself right, she'll love it.
    I'm sure.

Playfully tell her you'd like to kiss her, or something of that like, and maybe she'll let you.
If she does, win! You won her over, ask her to further things, explain to her that you'd like her in your life.

Wow, I sounded completely uh...whatever that word is, but that was odd.

    Good luck

  • Ohh good luck with the girl =]
You seem pretty nifty, I have a hard time believing it would be hard for you to have a little success here, plus shy boys are often the cutest without even trying.

You go to UofM? Cool beans. I live in Ann Arbor too =]
