She mentions "the dangers of videogame addiction".
Videogame addiction. WHAT.
I'm not a big fan of Xanga drama, but what the fuck are the Xanga staff thinking featuring this? It's not just the videogame addiction comment, it's insanely religious for a Datingish blog. They should really read this stuff over before featuring it, I'm at the crossroads of "laughing because it's so stupid" and "offended because it's so stupid".
That out of the way, I went to see Saw V last night. I couldnt believe it, it was actually a GOOD MOVIE! I enjoyed the first two Saw movies, but Saw 3 and Saw 4 sucked so my expectations werent high for Saw 5. But I never expected it to be as good as it was.
After that I just barely missed the bus back to central campus =O So I ended up waiting for an hour before the bus came around again, that was REALLY annoying.
I havent mentioned this to many people because it makes me look childish. But I recently got back into the Pokemon Trading Card Game. I used to be a huge fan of Pokemon. I was in love with the videogames and collected the trading cards as well. I didnt know how to actually play the game at the time, but after my friend taught me I was instantly hooked. From then on out, I didnt care about the videogames nearly as much as the card game, and I became really damn good at it. But then I grew out of Pokemon entirely sometime in the 7th grade so I didnt play anymore because I wanted to be associated with the cool kids. Now, ever since I came back to Michigan this year, I've got a group of friends that I play with over the weekends and we're always having alot of fun. There was a tournament last weekend that I did pretty poorly in, but there was surprisingly alot of people there for such an old card game. There's a prerelease event today that we're going to, they're releasing a new set of cards here in a couple of weeks but today we get the chance to get some of those cards early. Then they're going to have another small tournament where we can only use cards from this new set, and that's going to be pretty exciting.
I had a Biology exam and a Black World History exam this week. I didnt feel too good on either of them.
I had a pot brownie last night and went and played DDR. It was incredibly fun, got a good workout.

You aren't good husband or even boyfriend material because you play Pokemon.
/sarcasm

Never really got into the Pokemon franchise, not sure why. At least you're having a good time with it, though! I'm glad to hear it. Err... read it.
OMG! You read that post too, huh? And what do you mean it was "insanely religious for a Datingish blog"? Every Datingish blog I've stumbled across (yes, stumbled. That's my story and I'm sticking to it) has been hugely Christian. Even the Datingish profile states it is a Christian blog.
My entire sophomore year was spent walking around campus with my eyes glued to a Gameboy Advance, playing Pokemon video games.
I was a die hard Pokemon fanatic until everyone told me that it wasn't cool when I was like 10 or 11. Tragic. When I was in the 4th grade, some kids stole my entire collection of Pokemon cards (it had my fuckin holographic Charizard in it and everything!) and I cried for weeks.
I pirated a copy of Pokemon RED and played the ROM on my PC in maybe 2001. It was damn fun. I was a bit too old when Pokemania hit to get REALLY caught in it though.
I don't see anything childish about playing with Pokemon cards at your age. Props to you for doing what you enjoy without any regard for what people think and expressing your individuality.
