  • I had a really nice time yesterday.  A majority of my morning was spent finishing up an essay for Biology that was due at noon, I had stayed up all night the night before trying to perfect it.

After I was finished with classes for the day I participated in another research study that I got $10 out of.  I also got my first $3 paycheck for participating in online surveys, and since I've been doing those on a near-daily basis I should be getting a pretty steady stream of those.  And I may be going on and on about research studies and online surveys, but lemme tell ya, all that small cash adds up.  In this past week alone I've made $21 for about 2 hours of my time.  I'm saving all that money up for... something, I dont know yet but I'll know when I see it.  It's good to have money.

There wasnt really much to do after that.  MFlicks was hosting a free theatre screening of The Shining, and I was excited to watch that all week.  I was pretty tired from staying up the night before, so it was difficult for me to stay awake, but I'm definately glad that I went because I met a very pretty girl while I was there.  The movie was awesome as usual, since The Shining is a classic of the horror genre and quite possibly my favorite movie of all time.

I kinda wish I did more since it was Halloween night and that only comes around once a year, but I was exhausted and went to bed immediately afterwards.  I missed out on all the candy and parties and such.  Maybe I'll make up for it tonight, we shall see.

  • I wanted to see The Shining, but I was tired, and then I ended up going out to some parties.

Also, in Pops we are playing the opening entrance for "North by Northwest" (movie we saw in Lucia's class), which is pretty cool. I am one of the only people who have seen the movie, lol.

  • It was. We didn't actually go into any of the houses, because we didn't know anyone, so we mostly just stood in the street and we finally found some people we knew (and by "we" I mean my roomie) and so we went off w/ them to another party. Did you go into any of the Elm St. houses?

  • 21 bucks isnt bad. Gas money in exchange for surveys? Hells to the yes.
